yes I had a quick look and couldn't find much.  Is it worth trying to contact Plowden & Thompson was it? I'm sure I read on GMB that they were involved in it. Ok, just had another look and they were but I recall you hadn't had any joy from trying to contact them.  Shame.

 ??? I'm a little bothered by a bit of info in that article. I have a set of Tudor wineglasses with a thistle pattern on them and the "Made in  TUDOR  England" etched mark on the bases, but they are older than 1972, the date the article says the Tudor name was first used.
My grandfather had these glasses during the mid-'60s. I had the job of wine-waiter when I was a kid.
