While these plates share some features with older art glass from Walsh Walsh (Pompeian) or Arculus, I think these particular examples are likely to be modern Mexican or Egyptian recycled glass production. That's really interesting. Having briefly looked at your helpful links, they are indeed very light.
Fortunately they go well with my Mdina😚 Chalice, as the colour is very Mediterranean Azure.
