I.D.- Scandinavian/ Iittala - vintage item
« on: Yesterday at 04:43:07 PM »
Hi,

Took a gamble on this piece, arrived today.
It's reminiscent of Alvar Aalto- Savoy, but the shape is somewhat different.
At first I was excited thinking it was Helena Tynell- Sokkelo. However there are no prisms of colours in the glass.

Does anyone recognise this design please?
Is it of any significance or a heavy piece of art glass.
It has been in the same family, since early 70's.

Any comments or advice will be most welcome.
