Hi
I wonder if anyone can help me with some information about this glass? I bought it cheaply, based on some not awfully clear photos, on the off chance that this might be something older. On closer inspection, it is clearly quite modern - a foot that looks folded, with a couple of feint tooling marks? But a smooth bulge where a pontil mark should be (or where it would be ground away) - some sort of mechanised manufacture - very clear metal with only a few tiny air bubbles, a bowl rim which is angular - not fire polished. Bowl is without tool marks. Height 13.7cm. Bowl 6.9cm foot 9.1cm weight 310g
Any ideas on where, when, how and by whom this was made would be gratefully received.
Thanks for looking
Mark

I believe the bulge forms when the stem and foot are pushed together. It doesn't look machine made but...

Your glass looks a similar design to the glasses shown here: https://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,70602.msg393154.html#msg393154
