Murano Uranium Sommerso Vase
« on: December 21, 2025, 01:52:02 PM »
I bought this today despite it having a massive internal fault/crack. It has no external damage so I'm not sure what could have caused it, it may be it's a manufacturing fault or perhaps it was some form of excess heat. Height is 10", weight over 4.5lbs.

maybe someone poured boiling hot water into it to clean it?  I did that ... before I collected glass.  Cracked a stunning Murano large vase. It's so beautiful I've glued it together.  Although mine was actually cracked all the way through.

Thanks flying free, yes I think it may have been boiling water, but it's a bit odd the way it has cracked.
