Parisian glass?

(1/1)

Max:
I'm going to Paris for a few days, leaving tomorrow.  Does anyone know if there's any flea-markets there over the weekend, and if so, where?

Thanks!   :D

Max:
Been, Seine, and conquered Paris now!  :D

I had a great trip, and chose to go to the Marche aux Puces de St.-Ouen, recommended by Wright.

Marcus, I didn't have a detailed Paris road map  :( (will get one for next time though), and Wright's instructions were easier for a Paris n00b like myself to follow!     I did it all on my own though, so I was quite proud of myself really.  :D

I managed to fight my way down through the market, past all the clothes and stuff and found Rue de Rosiers, part of which was stuffed with Galle, Daum and Lalique - priced accordingly and out of my reach!  The only piece of glass I bought was a little Ranftbecher cup (for 2 Euros, chucked in a pile on the ground) which looks the same as some (possibly) Clichy goblets I have.

Thanks again for the advice given here, it's all printed out and will be useful for next time too.  :D

Very pleased you had fun in paris, Max. Happy to have been some help. By my way of thinking, anytime you find even one thing in a flea market that catches your eye, suits your budget, and makes you happy, well, the journey is a success. The cup looks like a wonderful find.
