aqua rolling pin - not very big one

This is rather pretty really, it is aqua glass, about 9 ins long including the handles, and I assume it is a rolling pin?  But the main part is rippled, so I wouldn't think anything would be very smooth, so probably just for display? Or what is it?

Nope,  round and smooth.   And obviously designed for a bung of some sort at the other end.

At first look, I thought if there were a hole in the nipple-tip, it might be a kind of funnel.

I think it was Leni who pointed out that glass rolling pins are viable items, so they could be filled with cold water.
