Please help in identifying this piece.
It is a decanter with a stopper.
Beautiful piece from Mom's Murano estate.
Thanks

It doesn't look like Murano glass. It looks Czech to me.

Definitely un-murano, almost certainly Czech (maybe German). The double cut-to-clear "Borussia" style was a made by manufacturers Oertel, Tschernisch, Schappel, Harach and Goldberg from around 1912, but it seems yours is much later in style.

Looks sufficiently like my Murano paperweight  - http://glassgallery.yobunny.org.uk/albums/userpics/10048/normal_Murano_cup-cake_weight.jpg
which has this label on the base - http://glassgallery.yobunny.org.uk/albums/userpics/10048/Murano_cup-cake_weight_label.jpg
to persuade me!

What am I not seeing?   :?

Hi Leni,
Hmm, so we have a dilemma here.
Do you have any samples of the Czech pieces Ivo?

Lenis post certainly looks like the same style, wih the cased white in between too. I'll leave it here for now.

There's a weight similar to mine in Sybille Jargstorf's 'Paperweights' book.  Jargstorf describes it as being made by ALT IN 1988.

Hi wepulls,
No need to repeat the thread.
Hope you are getting some good info about it.
Thanks
