Hi Doug,
this is an interesting looking vase.....it has a slight Central European Art Nouveau feel to it in terms of it's organic shape.
In fact the shape of it's flared top reminds me of a Victorian hyacinth vase.
I can't tell whether it's old or a more recent studio piece inspired by late 19th century styles.
Is it iridiscent? Is it thin or thick glass?

Dear Doug, not really knowing anything about glass but quite a bit about hyacinth vases, if anybody shows me something like your vase I would say Dugan. They made hyacinth vases a bit lopsided and with gold, for what it is worth..... Patricia

Glasshound:
Unfortunately Dugan only used one color in their vases and they usually have an overshot texture on them..this one has way too many colors for Dugan..
