I missed this post :) they are the most delightful pieces of art.  If I'd not started collecting Caithness farm weights for my niece I'd have started giving her these for a collection.

These cost some serious money when they were sold in shops, but thankfully you usually get them for next
to nothing on flea-markets here.  :)

But still, I love them  :) They are very unique.

and I was hoping to see some in Germany but only found my one egg  :'(
