Dexter, yes of course thats what they are.Why didn't I think of that before.I have a set of Australian Pottery ones the same shape  as these and I have always calle them Grapefruit dishes.Sometimes I do wonder if my brain works  :oops:
Lynne..I am glad then its not only me. It has to be the camera, couldn't possibly be us, thats doing things wrong  :)

Sweden was right, and these do look similar to a range featured in a Wuidart ad from 1955-6, but it is difficult to tell whether there are rings on the knops, of the set on eBay. Main two candidates if Wuidart, are Kosta and Orrefors.

Marcus, do you have that ad to hand? The family Christmas was hosted by my sister this year, and pudding was served in a set of glasses that tugged on vague recollections of this thread, but the original photographs on the eBay listing have vanished.  ::)

Unfortunately my memory seems to have been playing tricks on me - sigh - as the glasses are very similar in form, but too different to be the same manufacturer!  ::)

I blame the bottle of Baileys pushed in my direction before lunch.....

I have a c1960 ref. to 88mm colored glass grapefruits listed as Puck Reijmyre.
Ball stem is a tad less drawn.
