Possibly in the Murano 101: Murano Labels!!! thread then? There's a mention of clams in there and you posted some labels as well.

Well remembered Anne! You were spot on - I found the photograph of David's three lovely clamshells in there (link below) on page 2. I'll have to do more research on mine now - at least I know what the shape is called and the fact that it's from Murano; you can tell it's a quality piece, probably why hubby picked it up in the first place he has a very good eye for quality :-) Thanks again everyone - this has been extremely helpful. If I find out anymore about my clam I'll update this thread.

Yay! Now why couldn't I find it? :?

Anyway, it goes to demonstrate how virtually identical items can be made by more than one Murano company! I also have a much better L.Nason label that I must post soon.
