Skruf decanter
« on: November 14, 2006, 07:29:56 AM »
Good morning everyone! I hope you will be able to help me with this decanter.. it is by Lars Hellsten for Skruf glassworks. I can date it to between 1964 - 1972 but that is about it. Have seen one, without stopper and medallion, described as a vase.
The decanter is 28 x 8 x 8 cms.

As this is my first posting, please be patient; I'm not sure I have understood the link system correctly :(
Here goes..

Congratulations! You have managed to photograph, correctly identify, date and upload the item in a most professional manner. I'm not sure I see any open questions...?

Thank you, Ivo!
Open questions? Well, I was wondering whether the decanter had a name, perhaps with the medallion in mind, if it could be dated more accurately, if there was a series made, possibly with other colours etc.
( Although, at that time olive green was a very dominant colour..)
