hello

I've recently acquired this beautiful pink moulded glass ashtray, incorporating a bird figure. It's not a design I have seen before so I would be very grateful if anyone could suggest a maker.

Dimensions are about 5 inches long by 5 inches high. Date should be 30s-50s.

I saw a blue one of these in the 'flesh' (should that be in the metal?) recently but I wasn't convinced it was very old, maybe 1960s or 70s. That was just my gut reaction

Hi,

I have seen these too in the secondary shops and I don't think they are very old, plus there is especially nothing Deco, as in "Art Deco" about these. --- Mike
