Hiya Bryn

Yep you're right about Kingfisher - it is also a Dartington colour, I sold a Dartington Kingfisher Nipple Vase not that long ago.  Although, it is quite a different shade from the Whitefriars Kingfisher, which is darker and deeper in tone, the Dartington Kingfisher is much paler by comparison.  Thanks for posting the update on this vase - very useful info.

Hi Pip,
Thanks for that. I often check out your Ebay site, there's usually something of interest to me.
Pamela, Don't know if you are aware but there is an exhibition of Frank Thrower's designs to be held at the Dudley Glass Museum between 14th July and 28th October 2007. May be worth a visit although I know that Frank died in 1987.

Cheers,
Bryn (not Brian)
