I'd look at Flygsfors for that pretty piece.

Thanks - can a moderator move this to the glass board for me please?
                                         .
It has five dots on the base   :.:  < a bit like this (but with the top one centred)
Don't know if that helps as I am not familiar with this type of glass  :-[

It isn't from the Coquille range, as that has a fairly characteristic white layer and is usually signed. To pin it down will take someone like Ivo, or maybe Della :) Is this a Bayel colour, or Erikson from the US, or ???

I'm very flattered Cathy, thank you, but I can't be of much help really.  :-[

My instinct tells me Bayel, or Reijmyre, or  ???
If I know, I'll comment. If I think I know, I'll have a go. If I have no idea, I'll just keep quiet and learn from others, so the next time I'll know.

it does not look like any Flygsfors I have seen; but it is not a Bayel colour either. Reijmyre could be a possibility, or Murano - in short, I am blonde 404...

Thank you all for your comments - and thank you to Anne for moving this post for me!
This piece is totally out of my area but I liked the feel of it when I bought it.
Funny that Ivo should add a 'possibly Murano'  ;D - I originally posted it on the Murano board!

If I had to bet on this I would say Murano! The way the "wings" are pulled out and beautifully firepolished. Murano glass has such a tradition of very high polishing any tooling marks. I have a smaller 90% amethyst ( with the depth of the base giving an intense almost black centre to it, and clear 1/4 inch surround. I bet the same team made it and I bought mine as Murano but wondered aboyt Flygsfors. Seeeing yours has reassured me.
I wonder if the same guy worked at both factories. It is not unknown for a glass craftsman to go gipsy and get a job in Venice for a year..... the opposite is less likely but a few Ventian craftsmen have done time in Scandinavia, perhaps chasing a Nordic blonde....until winter and darkness sets in....
..and the wine and beer is so expensive, and legally restricted!
