Could anyone identify this piece I have just bought.  There are no markings on the base I have looked very carefully. It is not as tapered as the photo makes it seem and is 4.72 inches wide  6.69 inches high.  Diana?

It could be Scandinavian but does not have to be. The style is very much Von Eiff and his pupils, so a German provenance is possible - or even Hungarian!
