Hello, all...i am new to this board and wish you to excuse me of any ignorance that may follow. i am trying to research the history and identity of a bowl that is now in my possession, but was given to my mother by a friend, in repayment of a favor. My mother didn't really get the history of the bowl, since she's not big into collecting things, but she did remember the friend saying that it's collectible and she could have gotten at least $50 for it at a sale. I am unable to ask the "friend" since she is to never know that my mother passed it on to me! I assumed it was fenton. upon examination, i see a "F T" on a circle where the handle comes down into the body of the basket. the basket itself is a beautiful wine colored glass, but the bottom and the rim, along with the handle, fades from red to yellow...i'm sorry if this is somewhat vague and i don't expect someone to give me every detail, but maybe a gentle shove in the right direction would be helpful. Thank you for your time. Starla
