Help with Glass Pear

(1/3) > >>

robbo:
Hi,
I just wondered if anybody recognised this glass pear:

Pear
Base View

It seems quite well done. The controlled bubbles are small and even, slightly spiralled.
The base is ground and polished flat, with a slight bevelled edge.

Many thanks for any help.

Robbo, Hi,
Possibly Harrach'ov, between 1980-85, designed by Milan Metelak, in which case, pattern number 15/2764, I think.... but..... any number of other glass-works are candidates also.
Regards,
Marcus

robbo:
Thanks Marcus, that's great - I remember from other threads that these can be hard to pin down.
It's a nice shape, I think more Comice variety than Williams  ;D

I second that.  :) I was going to say most likely Czech from the style of the bubbles.

Could you clarify what you mean about the style of the bubbles, please?
