ID help Owl and Pussycat jugs

(1/3) > >>

chuggy:
Trying to sort things out here at present and wondered if anyone can help me ID these pressed glass jugs. I've had them over 20 years and I'm pretty sure they are pre-war. They stand 8.5 inches high, but I've no idea at all where they may originate from so all help appreciated.

Pip:
Paul - these remind me of an eBay auction Max posted about - my brain's a little embroille  ;) today so I can't remember what the thread was called but it was a big glass owl thingummy like yours.  Hopefully Max will be around to point you in the right direction (where is she btw????)

Sue C:
I was thinking that Pip, i thought about emailing Anne, but thought that would look like being nosey, i hope Max is o.k :-\

Della:

I think that this is the thread that Pip is referring to: http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,8070.0.html

I don't have a clue though Paul, sorry.  ???

Pip:
Yep that's the one Della (super sleuth) - is it nothing like Paul's jug though?  Oh well ... I knew it was an owl at least!  Sue, I'll email Max and see if she's OK - she's probably doing something arty and interesting  ;)
