
If you keep chucking your Apollos around, they will
become more rare.
They are nice glasses to use. I reckon they don't turn up in charity shops much because folk use and like them. The only problem is the puddle of water that collects in the base in the dishwasher.
When I bought mine, in '77, they were the glasses I was buying for my first flat on my own. Money was tight, but I needed a compromise between economy and style.
I have been accumulating various mould-blown glasses/tumblers (but not s/feista - or the other one you keep tripping over in charity shops, (fruit sets, still boxed, never used, wonder why - not!) one that looks as if it's got flames going up it. White Fire?
