Sherdley pattern - does anyone recognise please?

Heidimin:
Sorry, Anne - have looked through my pics and ads and can't see anything octagonal. Someone (is that t'other Anne?) has just listed a rather wonderful hexagonal kingfisher dish on e-bay - 220078892728 - but it's quite different in style. Wonder if these ones have a registration number "incribed" on the base?

Anne:
Hi Heidi,  thanks for this, yes it's t'other Anne listing that one. I've seen them in amber and once in a clear glass, but they are totally different to this eBay set. I wish he'd do better pics for me...  :-\

Anne:
I think this small creamer is the same pattern.

Heidimin:
There's a bowl in this pattern pictured in the Design Council Archives, which was exhibited in the Britain Can Make It exhibition in 1946:

Britain Can Make It

No manufacturer given, but most of the pressed glass in the exhibition seems to have been by Sherdley. Alexander Hardie Williamson started designing for them a few years before, so he's a possible for the designer - though this is much more ornate than the other stuff he designed around this time.

I'm now the proud owner of a brown hexagonal kingfisher bowl. But am still on the look-out for a clear one, if anyone happens to spot one.

(could a mod shorten this link? thanks! Mod: As requested)

Frank:
If they with their resources cannot ID the designer...
