textured green vase - id?
« on: February 04, 2007, 10:21:56 PM »
Hi there, I have this vase  http://glassgallery.yobunny.org.uk/displayimage.php?pos=-4883  which I am sure I have seen identified somewhere before but I cannot find it again :-[

It is 21cm high, 6cm across the base.  No pontil mark, just a flat base with a few concentric ripples.  Quite a bit of base wear so I don't think it is that new.  The top looks cut and, i think, fire-polished or at least well-polished.  Fairly thick glass makes it a heavy piece, not cased.

Any ideas welcome!  Thank you.

I started with Carnival glass, then other C20 irridescent, then Whitefriars ducks, then Dartington FT Daisies etc, then Whitefriars Tricorns...when will it end?

Just a gentle bump - surely someone else must have seen one of these before ???

To the moderators - sorry about the code, late at night posting and I'd been messing about with my website!
