Bagley Leaf and Twine Mount

Anne:
Hi Connie, I remember that thread as I have one of these "Zimmerman" baskets, with a glass inner that cannot be pinned down to anyone.  The original thread which discussed these was this one... http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,1101.0.html and there was a later one here... http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,4420.0.html

Hope this helps. :)

Quackers:
I can't add anymore to the origin of these frames but I do have this one http://glassgallery.yobunny.org.uk/displayimage.php?pos=-4900 which I bought on ebay a couple of years ago.  I'm not convinced that the blue liner is original as it is jammed in, slightly on the 'huh  ;)

Bernard C:
Anne — Thanks for the old links.   By the way did you see my "A study of mounted glass by Zimmerman, Brama (and Leek) is a virgin field pregnant with possibilities."?   I thought it was my best ever one-liner, and no-one even noticed.

Lustrousstone:
Tony's labelled frame interesting as it appears to be oak leaves not bog-standard leaf-shaped leaves - not one I've seen before.

Your wit is wasted on us Bernard  :-*

Anne:
We did notice, Bernard, but didn't reply just to tease you. ;)  I don't think it'd get past the Plain English Campaign somehow. ;D
