Message for Andy - Opal glass plates
« on: February 07, 2007, 12:37:41 PM »
Hi Andy,

I spotted these plates of yours on the gallery and have the matching sugar bowl.  I wondered what you could tell me about this glass.  Also, do your plates have a gold rim?

Thanks you

They're not usually great sellers so don't book the cruise. Quite common in the UK, although often unidentified

Christine,
nothing i sell would pay for 1/2 an hour in a rowing boat on the Thames!
if only i could come across a drunken bricklayer vase for peanuts!
Cheers Andy

Thank you both.

Andy, I won't be bidding - I bought mine a year or so ago out of curiosity (not Cat for nothing) - but I will be watching  8)

And Christine - I've always found it hard to believe that anyone criticises the amount of time it takes to get a reply on this forum.............but I think you are setting new speed records!
