Sommerso penguin
« on: February 24, 2007, 05:07:38 PM »
This penguin seems much higher quality than the usual little animals I see, amber glass, cased in turquoise, making a greenish colour at the top of the penguin where the turquoise is thicker, all cased in clear.

Unmarked with about 1mm little bit of creamy coloured paper from an old label on the base.  Does anyone recognise the maker?

thanks,

Sommerso Penguin
Thank you very much!

Looks like a Barbini or Salviati piece.

Colours seem to match several Barbini pieces, so that would seem to be right.

Many thanks again.
Thank you very much!
