All Mdina?

(1/2) > >>

lyndhurst44:
Hi,
I am thinking of listing these 3 unsigned vases on Ebay but would like to confirm that they are all made by Mdina, which I think they probably are. I am fairly certain that the flask on the left is as it has a prunt on the front showing an impressed letter M but I am not quite so sure on the other 2. The taller vase measures  just under 8" tall. All vases had protective cork bases when purchased (now removed) so I cannot make any subjective age suggestions as they are all scratch free.
Can anyone confirm one way or other please.

Hi Bryn,
I'm currently selling a vase which looks the same as the one on the left of your picture (with a Maltese cross on it?) which was confirmed as Mdina for me elsewhere.

Cheers, John.

Hi,
Thanks John, i was quietly confident on that one and your's has confirmed that. The middle one is a little bit more contentious and the one on the right could be Isle of Wight I suppose. >:D
Cheers,

"It's a minefield out there!"  ::)

Andy:
Hi Bryn,
yes they all are Mdina, probably c 1980s. The right one may be 1970s.
Regards
Andy

Just had another thought. It may not help much but there was a box full of Mdina items at an auction I went to a week or two ago which included a vase (which was signed Mdina) very similar in style to your middle one, but in different colours.
BOOM!
