it is looking like more MURANO to me?

Attribution on Ebay is a pain isn't it. I don't know enough about Clichy to fit on a pinhead - I do know I am sick and tired of people attributing MDINA as MURANO - even when the label says Malta on it.

Looks like a genuine Clichy - the price is a bit optimistic tho.

I agree. Genuine Clichy. Casalibre, why did you think this looked like a Murano?
-
I also vote Clichy, but it looks to be heavily polished from the side, (2nd photo shows the weights profile to be way to low )

Hi Guys.
It is as Clichy as they come. I was the underbidder on this piece at auction on Friday (Biddle & Webb in Birmingham, before you ask ;) ). And as the last post correctly notes, it has lost quite a bit of the original glass off the top in repolishing at some time. It is a decent size, and nicely laid out piece, and if it had been in original condition and shape I might have paid £1250 for it!
