Title: Stuart Crystal green diamond pattern vase for show with acid etched mark
Post by: brucebanner on September 21, 2015, 04:43:04 PM
Here is an early Stuart signature on a vase very much like Powell I think in design, purchased at the Malvern fair for a fiver and in really poor condition, it's took me 3 hours to clean up and now it looks great again.

8 inches in height, 5 1/2 inches across the rim and 5 inches across the base. :-*

No it's not uranium, there is a very similar shaped vase in Leslie Jacksons whitefriars book page 66, It shows just how much the designs have crossed over from one company to another.

Another vase in this colour but much bigger and i thought at first glance a modern piece of glass, ikea and the like.

10 inches in height, 8 inches across the rim and 6 1/2 inches across the base.
