this is smaller at 7.5 inches or 18 cm
I like this colour scheme.
This one has lots of base wear - the other two are like new.

Is this one Xanadu? It looks more like the trial range that preceded Xanadu, like this one

Sitting here with Christine's Caithness book in my sticky mitts, I can say that on p.35 there is an illustration of a simialr ovoid vase, described as
"..probably from a trial range in the late 1990s after Xanadu..."
Xanadu isn't cased in clear, is it?

You are right Sue - this is not Xanadu - I was making an assumption and had not checked my book.
The treatment of the rim is very different, - this looks cut and polished whereas Xanadu's rim is rounded - heat treated maybe ? and this one does seem to be cased in clear both internally and externally . The trailing is a much wider band too - covers approx 1/3 of the vase whereas on Xanadu it is only a very small portion of the whole.
Do like the colourway on this though - really loch, heather and ..something green ? don't think peat is green is it.....

Green is called Moss, according to Christine's book.
