Title: John Deacon paperweight ID and date

I believe this to be a J Deacon paperweight, does any one when this was made and if it has a name.

I believe he used a thistle as a signature cane,can't help with the date,sorry ;D

Yes the thistle cane is one used by John Deacons - and it has been used over many years so dating is not easy. I would guess that the weight in question was probably made within the last ten years or so, but ... maybe not??

Also note that a thistle cane was been used by Perthshire Paperweights. However, if the thistle has a surround of canes with many colours, then it is a JD example. (I think all the PP ones had a surround of same colour canes.)
