Hi Norman, it *looks* like a Whitefriars Glacier range jug (see http://www.pips-trip.co.uk/sold-glass-archives/british-glass-1/showitem-Z-GLACIER-JUG.aspx) however it's hard to tell from your photo what the base is doing - is it a welled base or flat?

It'd be worth your while checking the dimensions of your jug against the Glacier jugs in the 1972 Whitefriars catalogue at www.whitefriars.com to see if they tally up.

Hi Norman, Try it on the Whitefriars site, they will tell you, the handle is a different shape to pips. Sue

I'd say not Whitefriars - the proportions, texture and handle look quite different from both Pip's example and the original catalogue. At least in your photograph they do.
