This 14cm. dish is a boot sale find. I was a bit dubious about the label and I didn't recognise the pattern as Murano. However I've found a couple of similar dishes online attributed as "Tree of Life" pattern by CC Zecchin. Most earlier Zecchin pieces are clear glass with a painted decoration. I assume it's press moulded, it has a distinct lip on the inside of the rim and what appears to be a very faint ground pontil. I'm not sure if the colour on the leaves is painted enamel or a very thin layer of glass perhaps applied in the mould.

It would appear to be OK. Found a vase on Ebay with a box marked C C Zecchin Venice, Cristal & Color, Painted By Hand. There are also similar bowls.

Much of their production appears to be painted blanks bought in from various manufacturers, I recognise glasses from Bormioli for one. I have seen the following pattern with several different 'manufacturers' labels over the years including weirdly enough Mdina:

Thanks John, information about the factory seems a bit thin. I bought it because it was only £1, it's not my usual thing so I've put it on Ebay.
