Can anyone tell me the maker of these weights? Don't answer too quickly.
Hint - I'm at the PCA meeting in Toledo, Ohio, USA this week.
-
Can you post pictures of the side profiles and the bottoms? Age wear on bottoms? Diameter and height?
-
From the views we have they could be Jim Browns but he has not been able to make any new weights for Toledo

I agree Ray - have written to Jim Brown for any insight and will post any response.
The first (concentric) looks like either Old English or Jim Brown; and the second (closepacked) looks like Jim Brown or "who knows who".
Beautiful canes in that closepacked - wouldn't mind having that one in my collection.

I really like that second paperweight. I wouldn't mind having one in my cabinet.

I won't keep you waiting. These are made by Drew Ebelhare. They are part of his Bacchus series. The weights I saw were priced between $450.00 and $600.00 US Dollars. Very nice indeed.

Drew is an amazing artist. I have admired his work for years. These paperweights only increase my appreciation of his artistry.

Wow! I wish I was there, but getting to Toledo takes an entire day from where I live in New Mexico - ridiculous but true - and it's prom weekend for my teens.
I have 3 of Drew's weights and now I want one of those. Rare that I have so many by one artist, but mhy collection includes one of his close-packs that looks like a cathedral window, an environmental weight rocks with flowers, and a checker weight with various flower canes. He's unbelievable!
Can you post some more pictures from the dealers fair?

Hi there:
You all are so easy to fool. All a guy has to do is make something different and you have no idea who made it.
Yes this is the new stuff that I did for the convention. If you are interested in them please let me know. The prices quoted were not quite right but close. I have some others that are not pictured that are really good. I can send photos.
Will be in town for about 10 days then off to Texas to sell all this stuff if I can.
Respond soon as quantaties are limited!!!!
Later. D.
