Title: Leerdam uranium vase ? ID please
Post by: keez on September 13, 2023, 05:28:50 PM
Hi Forum.
I have this uranium vase and think it is Leerdam Copier... but I'm not sure.
The glass is very thin and the uranium content is not very high. The vase is 18.3 cm high.
I only see this shape at Leerdam with several narrower rings at the bottom.
I used to have 2 others of them, but optically blown with vertical rows on the inside and round on the outside, in amber and rose. Then it looks more like a Doyen vase.
So yes, my question is clear, I assume it is a Leerdam, but I would like confirmation from an expert.

Thank you in advance.
Kees

I don't know who made it but that is not a uranium glow; even low levels give a very bright green glow. That is a manganese glow
