Lovely item this and the first large piece of Vesta Venetian that has ever crossed my path.

Lovely colours. How does it compare to this one?

Reminds me of Empoli rather than Walsh Walsh as it looks too perfect. Ho Ho Ho Mike

It has characteristics with this one with a label.
Cheers Mike

:) Between the colours, the construction and the gold interior, it makes me think of the wee Monot Stumpf salts.

I suspect it's Opalina Florentina rather than Walsh Walsh too from the colours and the rim

I’ve just been looking at the book “the glass of John Walsh Walsh” by Eric Reynolds which shows two items in the picture on page 44 I think the larger item on the left is correct but the smaller one on the right is another smaller Empoli pieces as it has the similar wavy rim on the vase and also the finials the same as the one at the start of this thread.
Ouch!just saying.

I think that's already been concluded on here. I've certainly pencilled it in in my copy

Bought this vase on Sunday for comparison with the pot (which is not mine). Definitely Empoli and the same maker, both made with that same moulded pattern, orange cased with opal.

Gorgeous vase! They are both beautiful pieces.
