this is just because I think it looks very attractive (last Sunday's b.s.) a great U. glow - and the enamel paint must be almost the thickest I have seen. Anyone wish to comment :)

Gorgeous Paul! Never seen one like it before... what size please?
-
hello Anne - have measured, and height is 4 inches/100mm - with the diameter something like 4.5/8 inches/118mm. I don't really expect any specific information - think it's a little too obscure for that, but just thought you'd like the pictures. Date wise I guess something like late 1920's to maybe mid 1940 ish, and it may well be simply a stand alone piece, rather than part of a trinket set. Quite remarkably, there isn't even a 'flea bite' to be seen cheers Paul S.

Sounds like a powder pot sort of size doesn't it? Thanks for sharing the pics - I'll keep it in mind whilst trawling through catalogues etc... in case I find a match.

I have a similar one which I posted on here some time ago in uranium opaline glass. No definite ID but thought to be Bohemian

Harrach or Theresienthal ?
-
thanks - and yes, I could go with Bohemian - or perhaps Czech. Don't know too much about Harrach or Theresienthal, so don't know whether this has their level of quality. I suspect it may eventually go back into the charity shop, since I can't keep every piece I find, unfortunately. :'( Anyway, thanks for your thoughts.
