Title: Purple pressed glass lidded dish, Art Deco style - ID = Josef Inwald
Post by: rocco on August 17, 2013, 10:46:33 AM
Nice purple Art Deco style lidded dish, diameter 15.5 cm, height to the knob 12 cm.
The 3 feet are ground,  and so is the inner margin of the lid.

A search through Pamela's site and several other resources didn't come up with much.
I was thinking maybe Czech, Inwald / Rudolfova, Rudolf Schrötter?

Thanks for any help!
Michael

This powder bowl is by Josef Inwald and is found in his 1940 catalogue page 34 with two pattern numbers 11859 and 11860 (Possibly one for the dish and one for the lid)

Angela, thank you so much for the quick ID! :D
So I was on the right path, I am slowly getting better with pressed glass...

Lovely vase :)
Do the colours indicate a certain period of production? (pre / post WWII)

Possibly...not sure but no doubt someone will enlighten us shortly  ;D It could be different colours were made by different factories ? THis pattern appears in the Rudolfova Hut catalogue 1958 (This was owned by Josef Inwald by 1905) your colour seems the more modern.
