After seeing the post in the Trinket Sets section I found some Victorian Turnbull pieces with a similar decoration to this basket, petals? with rows of pyramids in between. Could this be a later piece? I would guess 1950's. It has a pyramid mark on the bottom with what looks like back to back 4's.
