I believe this is a Lollipop vase.
I think the signature is 1968 to early '70s (Wayne's site).
Sticker looks old but I don't haven't found any info online and I don't have Mark's book.
Charles H's book say's it's a fish vase (which I believe is an error).
Can anyone either tell me, or tell me where I can find this info?
Thanks, Steve.

Looking through Mark Hill's book I agree with you: a Lollipop vase.
The label is supposed to have been used until mid-1970ies. A shape (or order) number would have been written in the blank area.

It's an uncut "Cut-Ice" Lollipop. In quite a desirable early design. I believe these were made while Michael Harris was still there and that they are his design - and although they carried on being made after he left , I don't think it was for too long.

Thanks Wolf and Sue,
you have both confirmed my thoughts.

I've just noticed one side is marver finished and the other is cut/polished.
-
So it's simply a Cut-Ice Lollipop!
Sometimes they're just marvered on both sides - again an indication that it might be early because there wasn't enough staff time to give to the cutting that day.
-
Both the label and the dremel signature date this to after Harris left in 1972. So mid to late 70s would be my estimate.

Is that a dremmel? It's not nearly as wide as the one I've assumed is.
For a dremmel - it's quite neat.
But yes, just the presence of a "normal" sort of Mdina script would suggest post-Harris - even if by not very much!

I've been looking through signatures and have found this

And to the way Mdina is scribed looks very much like the Eric Dobson style above.
If I am right. Does it narrow down the age range?
