Can anyone identify this beautiful set. The candle holders measure 15.5cm in height. and the base 8.5cm from point to point. If further information is requires on the other pieces, please state. I would like to know the age and originator of these. Kind Regards.

very close to this Brockwitz, I would say ;D

Yes I agree with Pamela, Brockwitz 4900 series.
Posts about the other pot split off to separate topic 8)

Thanks Ann. Most appreciated!!

Does anyone recognise this trinket tray please? It's frosted around the edges and measures 29cm x 21.5 cm.
-
This one's still puzzling us too - t'other Anne has one in frosted green and at first we thought it was Bagley Wyndham, but that doesn't have the central motif, and the Wyndham corners are cut across not rounded like yours... Christine thinks the colour is rather Brockwitz, so we're still searching for this one too...
-
Ok thanks very much Anne. :)
-
Anne there is an Ebay listing one of these trays as Danish, what do you think?

I think I'd fall about laughing at the price! I'm not sure we bought it in Denmark is much of an attribution. I'm also unsure whether any pressed glass was made in Denmark
-
Jayne, I doubt Danish, but thanks for flagging that up. If that pot is a match it might help run the set to earth.
Christine - eeeek the price is a little bit OTT!
-
The green powder pot we looked at above in reply #3 is, I believe, the Brockwitz 5942 pattern. The tray isn't from the same series, and may not even be Brockwitz.
-
Sales are obviously going well!!
-
Positively booming Christine! And yes Anne the pot definitely looks like a Brockwitz 5942. The original blue tray of mine I've now seen many times with Brockwitz 4900 pieces in Amber, Pink, Uranium, Blue, some frosted some not, I've also seen the tray with 5900 pots and ring holder a lesser amount of times, but it seems like the tray was ID'd a while back with the set here http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,31775.msg171845.html#msg171845 although I realise the tray does not match the catalogue portrayal which is a comb tray.
-
I wish we could find that tray in a catalogue! :o There isn't a tray shown for the 4900 series.... :-\
I'd forgotten the earlier 4900 discussion too, so thanks for reminding me Jayne. I must search the board for all these trinket set topics soon! There's probably enough to start a whole new forum in here! ;D
-
Yay for a Trinket Set section! :D
-
Sorry to bump a really old thread, but the colour of this set is very interesting, I wonder was it really this "yellow/golden" or is it more amber and the camera/lighting is making it appear different?
-
Thought Anne would like these pictures for her website. Gorgeous part frosted Amber Brockwitz 4900 set. Another good ebay find!
-
...more pictures!!

Nice!
That is the first part-frosted Brockwitz 4900 set (in any colour) that I can recall seeing, Angela.
Fred.

Same here, Angela and Fred. That is super. Thanks for sharing the pics, Angela. I'm struggling for time to add them to the site atm due to other commitments, but I'll do so asap. :)

;D

So... now I know I have to search for an amber ring holder ..... Here some other "members of the family". The pink and green one partly frosted and another green all clear. It's a light clear green coulor.
Anne, you can use the pictures for the GTS.
