An inexpensive acquisition I've owned for a while but have been unable to identify.
The vase is 11.5'' (29.5 cm) high with a finely polished pontil and fire-polished rim. It is made of light-amber coloured glass with a pearly iridescence. There are 12 ribs optically mould blown and a subtle but uniform wavy pattern of combed silver-yellow threads (plus a couple of burst air bubbles).
It is similar to Loetz PG 6893 and the wave pattern also resembles that found on Kralik 'Opal-Wave' and Rindskopf 'Wave' pieces. The foot shape suggests Rindskopf but the fine quality finish on the pontil and rim is more indicative of Loetz. Help !

Identified as Loetz Candia PN 1-8081 (1899) PG 6893.

:) Well done on finding out, and thanks for reporting back :)
I'd been wondering about similarities to Walsh Walsh Sunshine Amber, but it was decidedly the wrong colour. ;D
It was the subtle iridesence and being finely blown into a gourdy shape got me wondering.
