Title: ID help on smoky grey glass vase- upturned rim - ID = Sea Glasbruk, Sweden
Post by: ckscot on July 19, 2008, 03:40:44 PM
Wonder if anyone can help ID this little smoky gray vase.  It's shape looks very familiar to me but can't think where to search for it - tried Scotland's Glass for Caithness but no luck.  Measures 6 " high, rim is 2.75", base is almost flat, no pontil mark.

I believe it's by Sea Glasbruk, Sweden. At least, that's what the label says on a piece I have that's exactly the same  except it's in amber.

Bingo!.  Armed with your information I've just checked on Ebay and found an amethyst one with label and same attribution, and from Ivo's little book I learn that Sea Glasbruk  are part of Orrefors Kosta Boda group.  Thank you.
