Title: Need help reading signature on Fenton vase
Post by: Emelia on August 04, 2011, 03:56:55 AM
I have a signed Fenton vase, but I cannot read the signature on it. The first name looks like Suzie to me. Any help, or anything else you could tell me about this vase would be appreciated.

Hi there:

Googled around and there is a Susie Johnson that signed for Fenton.

Please note that I found info under both spellings as *Susie* and *Suzie* -- so not sure which is right....but I think the last name is Johnson.

I think, I hope  :X:                            Now that I look at it again, it does look like the last name is Johnson on your item..

Yes, it's Suzie Johnson.

The handpainted motif is our "Daisies on Custard Satin" and dates from the mid-70s to early 80s. This particular vase was our 7252 DC.
