I just had to share this lovely find.  Isn't she gorgeous.  The lamp measures 12" in total.  I'm not sure if the shade is the original one, but it looks beautifully balanced and fits well.  I've yet to clean the piece.  The shade interior in particular is really quite dirty but intact.

I've been unable to find anything out about her having checked pressed glass and figural websites.  Can anyone help please? (and may be throw a little light on her ;D)

TIA.  :D

I had some candle holders like that some years ago, but they were blue.  It's a lovely lamp, but could it have been converted to lamp rather than made especially as a lamp?  Emmi

A nice example of Walther's 'Rotterdam' pattern. I've seen them both as candleholders and with an electrical fitting. Pamela has one on her site here: http://pressglas-pavillon.de/kerzenhalter/02125.jpg

A big thanks everyone ;D :hiclp:  It's definately a lamp base and not a converted candleholder.

That's really interesting seeing the uranium glass one with its original geometric shape lampshade.  Presumably this one would originally have had the same, but in pink.  What a shame - never mind ;)
