Title: Walther & Söhne "fisch" bowl.
Post by: NevB on July 08, 2021, 06:54:54 PM
I've been looking for one of these for a while to go with my seagull centrepiece. The only catalogue reference I can find is from the 1952-3 VEB Sachsenglas one where it's listed as "Petri" 40032 25cm. bowl.

It is shown here in the 1936 catalogue with the Möve/Seagull centrepiece but even using the enlarger they provide at the top of the page I can only read Schale/Bowl.

That's a valuable piece, I have a Musterbuch Walther 1936.

Thanks tucker, they do fetch a good price but it's one of my favourite pieces. I see from the catalogue there is also a plinth which I'll try to find, but it may be rare.
