A rather chunky trinket set of smoky-grey pressed glass comprising a pair of short candlesticks, a lidded pot, and a kidney shaped tray. The tray is approximately 12 x 7¼ inches, and the lidded pot is 6 inches tall to the top of the lid finial.
(Permission for the re-use of these images on the GMB granted by Tony Simmons).
The decorative pattern is mainly geometric panels of chevrons (sometimes combined with crosses).
Not a pattern I can recall seeing before, but looks rather Czech to me.
ID, comments or suggestions, please?
Fred.

That's one I've never seen before, Fred.

Lovely set! I have the tray in green. I had always assumed it was a crescent salad side plate/dish. Also seen the dish in a deep turquoise.

Thank you for showing these, Jayne.

Something about this sets reminds me of this Sowerby Cake Plate/Stand Pattern 2563
https://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,44802.0.html
I'm also reminded of a Federal Glass Snowflake Star Cake Plate.
Lastly I noticed the Mystery Set #107 page intro states the candlesticks are thought to be Czech Rudolfova Pattern 11480

I've just noticed a lovely turquoise blue set of the Rudolfova Hut 11480 candlesticks on the GTS website

Colour also known as Smokey Topaz or Smokey Grey or just Smoke (useful when using the search function).

Fabulous find, Jayne, well spotted thank you. Inwald of course became the Rudolfova glassworks post-WW2, which explains the later Rudolfova catalogue image for the candlestick.

Ah I thought it might be something like that Anne, also you may notice on the other pages of the catalogue in that link, some of your other Inwald sets on GTS were there, therefore being produced from the 1930's rather than 1940s.
