I really like how the decor is so full of movement - like a shoal of fish or flock of birds flashing past you. The shading in the colours is reminiscent of Chinese ink paintings. It's really well done.

Thanks to both the replies and the helpful comments. Relieved to get confirmation that the pattern was unusual and for the steer to Beykoz. Following up the Beykoz suggestion I extended my research to that maker. There I did find example of the very fine horizontal gilding that was on my piece. Not conclusive but it is a link. Will keep looking. Thanks again for your time.

My brother and myself have some of these, the glass was made in Europe, Czech maybe and the blanks were cut in Blackheath, not far from where Sainsbury's is now, that's if you know your way round Blackheath

Hello,
I have been trying to identify the manufacturer and pattern for some Cordial glasses (3.5 inches in height) that I found in my parents house. I am pretty sure they are crystal, but cannot say this 100% unless I can ID the maker.

Saw this when I was out and about today. I don't know if there still is a label database here but anyone is welcome to use the image. Just a tiny detail in the large west midlands glass industry. Tim

It appears to have a ground and gilded rim which points to it probably being Bohemian. The decoration is unusual and you may find it difficult to attribute a maker.
