Title: Strathearn Paperweight

New purchase - what I presume to be strathearn - 2.25" diam. with blue ground.

I suspect it is an early Perthshire, rather than a Strathearn.

Agreed. Some of the very early Perthshire Paperweights can look a lot like Strathearn weights but usually the overall setting and the twist canes are more "crisp" than in Strathearn.

And I really must update one of my own web pages (http://www.btinternet.com/~kevh.glass/pages/vas-strath/weight15.htm) where I show an example of what I now accept to be an early Perthshire Paperweights PP1 design but orginally indicated that it was Strathearn. :spls:
