Does anybody recognise this label, a gold shield with the letters SG in a heart-shaped border surrounded by dots?
-
Sachsenglas Ottendorf Okrilla, after 1945.
Same label with AWS: August Walther und Söhne, up to 1945
-
Thanks, Ivo!
Talking of Walther...walked past two dressing table trays in the 'yellow flash' pattern today..full labels still in the box and cellophane!
She wanted 4 euros each, and I had to walk by. Even good factories are hard to sell for anything!
-
Jay, I'd like to see the whole item, please ;)
-
Hi Pamela,
I'm afraid it's a poor pic sent to me by a collector-friend.
-
That's fine, thank you Jay - fair enough to recognize it as CENTRA # 51785 (http://www.glas-musterbuch.de/VEB-Sachsenglas-1965.73+B6YmFja1BJRD03MyZwcm9kdWN0SUQ9MjcwMiZwaWRfcHJvZHVjdD03MyZkZXRhaWw9.0.html) I'd say ;D

According to Marcus Newhall´s book on Sklo Union designed by Edith Prescher. :)
Here´s even a picture of her on Pressglas-Korrespondenz:
